Item Description:
Sauer 100 short rifle chambered in 6.5 PRC. The seller reports the barrel was professionally cut by a gunsmith to make the rifle shorter and more maneuverable for hunting in brush. With the installed muzzle compensator (Gamma 7.62 VG6) the overall barrel length measures 18 inches. Without the compensator the barrel measures 16 3/4 inches, which the seller states is a legal rifle length. The seller reports approximately 300 rounds fired.
The seller offers the optic as an option for an additional $400 and describes it as “Bushnell with 30 mm tube, model Burris Veracity 2-10×42 FFP” (seller’s description). Original factory packaging and items are included as supplied from the manufacturer.
The seller notes the rifle was shortened to retain power while improving maneuverability. The seller further states that the current bullet energy is comparable to a 6.5 Creedmoor from a long 24-26 inch barrel (seller’s statement). Review photos carefully for details.
