1) Where to send DMCA notices

2) Copyright infringement notice – what to include
To submit a DMCA notice, provide all of the following:
- Your contact information
- your full legal name
- your email address and phone number
- your mailing address
- Identify the copyrighted work you believe is infringed
- a description of the copyrighted work
- if available, a link to an authorized version or other information that helps identify the work
- Identify the material you claim is infringing
- the exact URL(s) on [DOMAIN] where the material appears
- enough detail for us to locate it (screenshots help)
- Required statements
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf
- Signature
- your physical or electronic signature (typing your full name is acceptable)
3) What we do after receiving a notice
After we receive a complete notice, we may:
- remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material
- notify the user who posted the material
- request additional information if your notice is incomplete
We may take action against repeat infringers, including account suspension or termination.
4) Counter-notice (if you believe content was removed by mistake)
If you believe your content was removed due to a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice to [DMCA_EMAIL].
Your counter-notice must include:
- identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled due to a mistake or misidentification
- your full name, mailing address, phone number, and email address
- a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the US federal district court for your address (or, if outside the US, for any district where the service provider may be found) and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the DMCA notice or their agent
- your physical or electronic signature (typing your full name is acceptable)
If we receive a valid counter-notice, we may forward it to the original claimant. If the claimant does not file a court action within the time allowed by law, we may restore the material.
5) Repeat infringers
We may terminate accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyrights.
6) Misrepresentations
Submitting false or misleading DMCA notices or counter-notices may result in legal liability. Please make sure your statements are accurate.
